Spring Term 2019/20 Week Beginning 20th January 2020
Dear Parents and Carers,
Y6 Residential
We have been offered a limited number of places to attend Real Adventure Through Sport Activity Centre, near Ullswater in the Lake District, for 2 nights of activities. This is a full-board residential course from Wednesday 1st July 2020, returning on Friday 3rd July 2020
The cost will be £155 per child, which covers accommodation, all meals, instruction, specialist equipment and clothing, transport and insurance. A £30 non-refundable deposit must be paid on Parent Pay and the booking slip which came home must be returned by Friday 13th February to ensure a place is reserved for your child (we will return this deposit if your child does not get a place on the trip due to oversubscription).
Y4 Residential
Again we will be offering our Y4 residentail to Pybus Camp site in Stokelsly. This will take place on either 25-25th June or the 2-3rd July depending on the class. There is a space for all Y4 children. If they are not all taken up we will offer them to our Y3 children. Please look out for letters to follow shortly.
Half Term
Children will finish school on Thursday 13th February and return to scool on Monday 24th February.
British Values
This week we have been reading a book called The Great Paper Caper, it was about global citizenship and taking care of earth’s valuable resources . The values we have focussed on were kind and responsibility

This week Austen house won and they were very excited about it!
