Uniform
At Bexhill Academy, we take great pride in our appearance and the sense of community our uniform creates.
Our uniform policy applies to all children from our 2-year-old provision right up to our Year 6 students. We believe that wearing a uniform promotes a sense of belonging and ensures that all children are equal, allowing them to focus on their learning and development without distractions.
Daily UniformWe ask that all children arrive at school each day looking smart and ready to learn in the following clothing:
Bottoms: Black trousers, black shorts, or a black skirt.
Tops: A white polo shirt.
Knitwear: A purple jumper or purple cardigan.
Footwear: All-black shoes (no brightly colored logos, soles, or laces).
PE Kit Days
On days when your child has physical education (PE), they are encouraged to come to school dressed in their PE kit for the entire day. This saves changing time and keeps them comfortable.
Our PE kit consists of:
Bottoms: Black joggers (either school-branded or plain, unbranded).
Tops: A plain purple or plain white t-shirt.
Layering: A black hooded sweatshirt (either school-branded or plain, unbranded).
Footwear: Trainers suitable for physical activity.
