Dear Parents and Carers, 

Wise Games

As you are aware all of our KS2 children are attending Gateshead International Stadium on Monday 20th May. Parents are welcome to attend. Please note that this WILL take place instead of our traditional School Sports Day (obviously Key Stage 1’s Sports day will go ahead as normal).

Parents need to ensure that children arrive promptly at school, so that we can leave school at 9am. Parents are advised to get to the stadium and be seated for 10am. The gates open for 9 and you will be shown which stand is for Bexhill parents.

Y3/4 Camping Trip

There is a parents meeting taking place on Tuesday 21st May in our school hall at 3:30. Please collect your child as usual and then enter via the main entrance.

SATs

Well done to all our Y2 and Y6 children who have been completing their Sats, we are very proud of them. They all tried their very best and the attitudes and behaviour in Y6 particular has been exemplary. Thank you to all our Y6 parents who ensured all children were in school on time.

Suncream

It’s that time of year again where the sun shines and little arms and faces get burnt! Please can you apply suncream at home. EYFS have had a separate letter regarding this.

For all other children they may need to top up during the day, so they can bring sun cream in (with their names on). Please train them to apply this themselves and staff will only intervene when necessary.

Uniform

If you require new uniform for September, we urge you to do this sooner rather than later. This is to avoid disappointment and to ensure your uniform arrives in time. If you require more information about sizes etc then Emblematic will be at Town End Primary School on Tuesday 11th June (8:15-9:30 or 3:15-5:00 pm) You can order on this day and view their samples. All orders are with Emblematic and not school. You can of course order on their website directly.

Firefighters Charity

If you have any clothing, shoes, belts, handbags that you no longer want please keep and bring into school no later than Wednesday 22nd May.

Parental Survey

We have sent you a text with a link on for a parental questionnaire. Please take a few moments to complete it. Your opinions will help us to move our school forward. Thank you to all those parents who have already completed this. So far we have had 80/410 responses.
