 Nursery parents/carers - Space Party

To end our topic, we would like to have an alien space party on Friday 15th February! Your child is welcome to come in to school dressed up as an alien, e.g. colourful clothes, underpants on top of clothes (we will be reading the story ‘Alien’s Love Underpants’) and facepaint. As it is a party your child can bring in some party food! Due to allergies, we ask that all children bring their own party plate or lunch box of party snacks in. If your child stays all day then they will have lunch as normal but please provide some party snacks for the morning and afternoon session.

School Holidays

Please note that the children break up for half term on the 15th February. The children return to school on Tuesday 26th February. Please note school is closed on Monday 25th for a teacher training day

2 year old, Nursery and Reception parents/carers - Animals

We would like to give you advanced notice of our Spring 2 launch event. Our topic is ‘All Creatures Great and Small’ and on Tuesday 26th February your child will get the opportunity to handle a range of animals with the company ‘ForPaws’. Please let us know if your child has any allergies that we are not aware of.

World Book Day

World Book Day is on Thursday 7th March 2019 and to celebrate we are inviting all children to come to school dressedas either their favourite book character or  in their pyjamas as we are going to use this day to promote the importance of bed time reading! We would love it if all children participated but if your child would prefer not to then they must wear their full uniform please.

We are also going to have a ‘book swap’, your child can bring in one book that they would like to put into the book swap shop and the choose another one to take home with them and keep!

 ‘Book People’ Book Fair

This will run every night after school starting on the 11th March for a week. Please note this is a different book fair to who we normally use. The books are cheaper, but unfortunately, you can’t use the vouchers you receive for ‘World Book’ day is this for a week

 Red Nose Day

Red Nose Day is on Friday 15th March 2019. To raise money for this important charity your child is welcome to come in wearing red for a £1 donation - the more red the better! We would love it if all children participated but if your child would prefer not to then they must wear their full uniform please.

We will be selling red noses on the lead up to this date.
